Our Story

Capture Technologies is an experienced technology service and solutions provider based in Northern California. From security to communications, we provide a wide array of products and integrated systems that make workplaces safer and more efficient.

Back in 1948, we launched the company as U.S. Audio: a small audio business focused on putting customers first. We’ve grown since then, and we continue to grow while maintaining our customer-centered philosophy by providing individualized solutions with the best equipment and service in the field.

At Capture, we know that finding the right solution for your business can be difficult. That’s why we’re here. Our sales, customer support, and service professionals make sure customers are always informed about our products to ensure that they are fully satisfied.

We specialize in Access Control, ID, Video Surveillance, Communication, Voice Logging, as well as supplies for these valuable industries.

We are an employee-owned and operated company. That means every single one of us shares the same deep commitment to our customers. Get to know each of us a little better below.

 

I have transitioned exclusively to the Director of Sales position after heading both the Operations and Sales Departments at Capture Technologies. My extensive history on the technical side of our company has allowed me to have a better appreciation of the complete selling process, I use these skills on an almost daily basis.

I am fortunate to head a team of intelligent and dedicated sales professionals with many years of experience managing the needs of our customers. My technical background serves me well when working with my team and customers to find the right solution, the one that elegantly meets their needs within the constraints they are facing, be it budget or timeline,

The things I enjoy outside of work are travelling with my wife of 30 years and spending time with my kids.

Joe Franco

Director of Sales

Access control and video surveillance are my areas of expertise with the added benefit of extensive knowledge of smart card technologies. Currently, I am focused on the Self-Storage industry where I am certified on the PTI Security access control solutions.

The other industries that I serve are Healthcare and Industry needing innovative and professional systems for their access control and video surveillance.

I’ve been a Security Industry professional for 9 years and I enjoy it because every solution is customized to the customer’s particular needs. My customers consider me a trusted advisor and I take pride in finding them solutions that make their jobs easier.

My favorite part of my job is developing relationships with customers and working with them to solve their issues. As an employee-owner, this is key to the success of our company.

When I’m not working on finding solutions for customers, I spend my time in the mountains. From skiing in the winter to hiking in the summer; being in nature is rejuvenating.

I’ve been an Administrative Professional for 20 plus years, and I enjoy it because I get to expand my software knowledge base, troubleshoot and interact with customers.

The things I love most in life are family, my dogs and outdoor activities.

I am proud to work for Capture Technologies in customer sales for over 15 years. I enjoy the interaction with clientele and helping them find solutions to meet the needs of their businesses.

I am a Service Technician specializing in servicing and installing our voice logging products.

I've been an IT specialist for 5 years, and I enjoy my role because it allows me to spend my work time solving puzzles.  I like communicating with people who may have an idea of what they want to have happen, and maybe even have some idea of how it should work, then helping them find the solution or leading them towards their "Aha!" moment.

When I'm not working on voice logging solutions, I like going out in nature, especially rivers and lakes. I also enjoy Latin dancing with my wife, and playing retro arcade games with my friends.

I’ve been an Administrative Assistant for 35+ years and recently joined the Capture Team as a Sales Administrator. I love my job! Every day is something new, challenging me to change, growth and opportunity.

I am also an active Grandma of 8 amazing children ages 6 to 18 years of age. I enjoy cooking/baking, crafting, and writing poetry, children’s books, novels, and short stories. I look forward to working for Capture Technologies well into the future.

I am a Service Engineer specializing in Customer Support on Voice Logging/Vesta PSAP/CAD and Altigen Systems.

I’ve been in Customer Support 30 years and I enjoy fixing things, especially systems. I define a system as both the hardware and the people who use it. I also enjoy interacting with customers/IT Managers and/or staff, providing installation, training and hardware support.

When I’m not working with customers I like to spend time with my family and my son, working in my garden, bowling (I carry a 158 average) and my ‘girls’ – I have 4 backyard chickens.

My favorite part of my job is configuring phone systems because it allows me to use my mind to work out how to best provide the customer what they will need so they receive the best service.

The things I love most in life are spending time with my wife, visiting my kids and studying courses that improve my life.
