Recently we updated Capture’s Website and one of our objectives was to consistently blog to keep our customers aware of new technologies and ideas that might be helpful to our loyal customers. We kept that promise until we ran out of new, interesting ideas and haven’t posted a blog in over a month.

For over ten years I wrote and posted a blog every single day.  When I was called back into duty at Capture Technologies, Inc. I put my blogging on hold with the intention of never reopening that door.  As many things in life that wasn’t written in stone.  I have decided to continue blogging and will do so on Capture’s website; a company I have been involved with for almost fifty years.

For the ten years I blogged we were RVing six months a year and living at our summer residence in Telkwa, British Columbia from April thru October.  My blogs were travel oriented, six months a year, and focused on gardening and sharing our experiences in the beautiful Great White North.

In my seventy-five years on the planet Earth, I have learned a lot and have a need and desire to share the life lessons I have learned.  With that said…

As a young man in the first of several business I owned, a SCORE representative found his way to my door.  SCORE is a Government consulting service where mostly retired businesspeople volunteer to help mentor and advise young business owners.

In our introductory meeting a man in his mid-seventies gave me business advice based on reviewing my company.  As he departed, I couldn’t help uttering the words “What does he know”?  Almost fifty years later I can answer that question: almost everything!

Starting with my next blog I will start sharing life lessons from a businessman that has spent over fifty years, in the trenches, successfully running small businesses.

Why is this posting titled Thirty Five?  Check out my next blog!
