Public safety officials now have a couple of different options for their radio recording equipment. Verint’s Audiolog has been specifically designed with public safety in mind, with a choice between Harris OpenSky and Motorola ASTRO R7 .x P25 radio systems. Each system provides a unique experience for users, creating an entirely new recording experience.
For Audiolog users that need quick playback access, the Harris OpenSky radio transmission recording option provides the solution. Through the VNIC interface, voice transmission packets are sent to the Audiolog Trunked Logging Recorder.
Users can also choose Motorola ASTRO R7.x P25 which uses an interface server to connect to Audiolog’s IP interface. Once connected they can request RTP streams for all radio communications. Then recorded transmissions can be stored for automatic playback.
In addition to these options, Audiolog users will also be able to use Audiolog Multi-channel Player for event playback. For managing and exporting recordings, this feature can help users to keep their data safe. It comes with a “save as” feature for exporting a multiple call sequence into one portable file.
Other features like the Audiolog SmartScanner allow for live monitoring and multi-talkgroup management. With this feature, supervisors can look at several different talkgroups at a time. Users can also easily retrieve exactly what they need to. All calls can be easily sorted by talkgroup, time, date, radio ID and primary alias.
This is only the beginning of what Audiolog can truly do. Put simply, users can access all of their IP recordings easily online, while being able to sort and organize them with the greatest of ease.
