Cardinal Peak is making interviewing easier and easier for law enforcement. With new added features, officials may be surprised with all they can do with simple recording software. CaseCracker, the Interview Management System, has new features such as Live Remote Viewing and Multiple Session Export. These features, among others, make interviewing in law enforcement as easy as humanly possible. Not only are they able to annotate and flag during the interview, but with these new software features, they’ll be able to export interviews to USB drives as well.
Even before the recent 4.0 software update, CaseCracker made interviewing as simple as possible. With this device, it only takes one press of the button to activate and initiate an interview. Rather than trying to concentrate and write everything down during the conversation, law enforcement officials can rely on CaseCracker to take it down for you. Plus, this software has the ability to take audio and video at the same time, while providing multiple views of the person being interviewed.
CaseCracker also makes it easy for officials who need what they want, when they want it. CaseCracker allows users to search through an interview to find exactly what they want. They have the options of fast forward, rewind, slow motion and frame-by-frame advance.
CaseCracker can also make busy days run smoother. They offer both stationary and portable systems to fit the needs of your agency, while providing the ability to export as well. In fact, now you can export multiple recordings at the same time. Need to share the recording with someone? It can do that too. Automatic Export allows users to automatically export MPEG-4 files, so anyone within your network can view the files later on if they need to.
However, one of the most important new features for this new software update is the Secure Hash Algorithm. This feature can prove to the court that your recording is secure. Your video and audio will be completely validated by CaseCracker’s SHA-1 cryptographic hash. This is a major step forward, as law enforcement often need to prove that evidence has not been tampered with.
For anyone in law enforcement, CaseCracker provides an easy-to-use tool that’s simply essential for interviews. This software is specifically designed to make law enforcement easier. It takes the hard work out of interviewing, so more focus can be on crime fighting.
